  What do I need to submit when I want to register my child at John Mitchell School?  
       
  Necessary documents:    
   
  • Orignal Birth Certificate / Study Permit
  • Original Clinic Card
  • Latest School Report Card
  • In the case of a Grade 1-enrolment, please remember the report card of the pre-school
  • Transfer Card (Grade 2 to 7 registration)
  • ID's of parents
    We'll make copies and hand back your original documents immediately
  
  Registration Fee:    
Grade R: R 500-00

Grade 1 to 7: R250-00
 
  Information needed:    
   

  • Parents' full names and ID-numbers

  • All telephone numbers and addresses: home, work and cell phone

  • Job description and Company details

  • Doctor and Medical Aid Information

  • Home language Information

  • Names and telephone numbers of at least two relatives and friends, who may be contacted in case of emergency when the parents can't be reached.

  
  School Fees:    
    It's determined in October / November every year. 

Grade R: R5 000 per year

Grade 1 to 7:
                            1st child:    R3 900 per year
                            2nd child:   R3 600 per year
                            3rd+ child: R3 300 per year

  How do I register my child?

Parents need to come to the school, supply the requested documentation and fill in the registration form at the school.
Please note: No registration form will be taken or sent home.
 

  
  What if I decide to register my child at another school?

If you decide to register your child at another school after registering him / her at John Mitchell School, you must please notify us as soon as possible.
Please note: No registration fee will be refunded.
 

  
  Why do I have to pay the registration fee?

The registration fee is requested to cover all administrative expenses throughout the registration process.
